In general, information on what is required of candidates taking the admission examinations for the individual courses is available for downloading from the website page relating to the course concerned, in each case in the download area on the right.
The University of Music, Drama and Media Hanover charges a fee of €30 for participation in the application and admission procedures for all courses. The fee is due when the application form is submitted. Evidence of payment should be submitted with the application documents (payment voucher stamped by the bank, or copy of a bank statement). The fee is non-refundable. This still applies if the application is rejected or if the candidate withdraws from the admission examination.

Information events of Deutsche Tonkünstler Verband (DTKV)
In collaboration with HMTMH, the Deutsche Tonkünstlerverband - Landesverband Niedersachsen e.V. (Lower Saxony State Association of the German Association of Musicians) – offers students the opportunity to find out how they stand before the admission examination. A mock examination can be taken as a “dress rehearsal” for the admission examination.
