Study Musical Performance | Violoncello(Master of Music)

Innovative teaching concept in the Master’s programme in Artistic Education with violincello as the main subject

From the winter semester 2022/23, the HMTMH will be offering a special teaching concept in the Artistic Education Master's programme (major in violoncello):

Renowned artists in their field will join HMTMH for a team-teaching project to teach Master’s students in individual teaching blocks over the next two years. In this “Maestri-Master” class, students benefit from the different artistic styles and personalities of their teachers.

We have already been able to recruit Harriet Krijgh, Mario Brunello, Philippe Mueller, Paolo Pandolfo, Alexander Rudin and Vashti Hunter. These great artists will jointly supervise their class.

Students will have access to all the offers and projects of the university, e.g. in chamber music, with guest artists or with the so-called “Coloured Box”.
