Outgoing students
REQUIREMENTS
Every university participating in the ERASMUS+ program requires an ERASMUS Charter (ECHE), and a contractual agreement must exist between the participating universities. A list of HMTMH's partner universities is linked. Since Switzerland has its own program (Swiss European Mobility Program), corresponding forms are required. Please contact the International Office (IO) at HMTMH for assistance.
What requirements must I, as a student, meet to apply for an ERASMUS+ stay? If I am at least in my third semester, I can spend three to a maximum of twelve months abroad. Language requirements vary depending on the partner university.

• 3-12 months (one or two semesters)
• FOR INTERNSHIPS: 2-12 months, the internship must take place within one year of completing a study phase (graduate internship).
PREPARATION
To prepare for my Erasmus+ stay, thorough research is essential. Which degree program interests me and will complement my current studies? Which country do I want to go to? etc. Once I have a general plan, I first contact the International Office at the HMTMH. As an IJK student, after my research, I first contact Ms. Tanja Fisse, the IJK subject coordinator.
APPLICATION
After research and initial discussions with the International Office (IO) or Ms. Fisse, the next step is preparing the official application: I can submit three nomination preferences and must pay attention to the respective application deadlines of my chosen partner universities (to ensure the IO can process my nominations adequately, I must inform them at least one week before the application deadline!). The application is submitted either online via the portal Mobility Online or by email. As soon as I receive an offer, I will inform the IO or Ms. Fisse (as an IJK student) as soon as possible whether I accept or decline the offer. The application process can take approximately two to over six months.
