Scholarship for advanced students

Overview

Provider: This scholarship is financed through a Gala Concert “Musik braucht Freunde” in collaboration with the “Förderkreis” of the HMTMH
Amount: 1.000 Euros per semester
Duration: depending on the decision of the selection jury for one or a maximum of two semesters. It is possible to apply again for the scholarship..
Aimed at: students of the Bachelor-, Master- and the Diploma Programme Acting who are in the 3rd semester or higher
Awarding criteria: financial need
Committee: specialist jury
Application period: start of winter semester
Commitments: The scholarship holders can be asked to participate in the annual Gala concert “Musik braucht Freunde”.
Application requirements: application form, expert review and financial form (see download), CV in tabular form, digital photo in portrait format, motivation letter including personal details as well as career goals and financial situation within the study period (max. 1 page A4). Background

The initiative

In 2004, HMTMH graduates Andrej Bielow and Johann Weiß founded Musik braucht Freunde (MBF), HMTMH's first scholarship initiative. Since the first five scholarships were awarded in the winter semester of 2006/07, over 600 students have received support.
