SAVE THE DATE! 

Under the German title ‘Kunst. Macht. Menschlichkeit’, Germany‘s music universities are organising a nationwide action day against abuse of power. HMTMH is currently preparing an event on 27 November (starting at 10 a.m.) which will be held in Hörsaal 202 and later in the foyer and is aimed at all teachers, students and staff in order to reflect on and discuss the topic of abuse of power in lectures and panel discussions.

In order to make the programme as lively as possible, we would also be happy to receive contributions from members of the university and therefore invite you to participate in the action day:

• If you would like to participate with an artistic contribution, please outline your idea using the attached PDF form and send it to veranstaltungsassistenz@hmtm-hannover.de. Contributions from all artistic fields – music, theatre, performance, dance, literature or other forms of expression – are welcome.
• If you would like to contribute with a stand in the foyer or in any other way, please contact anja.dittrich@hmtm-hannover.de. Whether it's information material, discussion groups, workshops or experimental approaches – your proposals are welcome.
• In mid-October, you will receive an invitation to participate in an anonymous online survey, which is currently being prepared at IJK and is intended to help us gain a more nuanced picture of the situation at HMTMH. Various results and responses from the survey will be presented on the action day and incorporated into the discussion, along with other materials.
